I love to read what you have to say about the books you read. You have done a great job connecting with ideas from the story. The wanting something so bad is something many of us know well. The difference is the things we crave are not always objects. You crave adventure for example.
It's great to know that you appreciate so many of the powerful moment that can come to life in books. These are the kinds of favourites that stay with us for life.
Your text is clear and easy to read. I understand what you are getting at and I can see that your appreciation of themes beyond the text are strong.
